Grangetown started off this top of the table clash with Translift and after only four minutes Grangetown's Ste Hutchinson heads over the Translift bar after a good cross in from full back Harry Taylor.
The next ten minutes Grangetown started taking control of the game with the wind behind their backs and the Translift keeper pulled off two great saves first from Man of the Match Craig Ruddy and then Liam Lawlor.
GOAL - A great cross sent in by Ruddy at the far post finds the unmarked Andrew Donachie to powerfullly head home to put Grangetown one nil up.
A minute later Donachie again heads just inches wide again with a looping headed. On 21mins midfielder Ste Scott see's his shot just fly over the bar with a shot from outside the box. Translift then have their first shot of the match after 23mins but shoot straight over the Grangetown bar.
With Grangetowns defence standing firm and being marshalled by Taylor and Murkin Translift were limited to shots on goal.
Translift's keeper then pulls off another fine save on 27mins after a great strike from Ruddy only to see his shot turned away for a corner.
GOAL - 29mins Craig Ruddy then scores his first of the match from 8 yards after following in from a Donachie header which rebounds off the bar.
Two minutes later another great save from the Translift keeper to keep the score down after Ruddy strikes a powerful shot.
GOAL - 37mins Goal of the game, Ruddy sends in a quality cross to find Donachie who chests down to fellow striker Ste Hutchinson to tap in his first of the game and Grangeotwn's third and go into the interval 3-0
HALF TIME 3-0
With Grangetown kicking against the wind in the second half they were soon back on the attack and Translift's Man of the Match was soon back to keeping the score down when he saves a Hutchinson shot 2mins into the second half.
Again good team work from Ruddy finds Donachie who head's just wide on 50mins and three minutes later Hutchinson's header is saved by the Translift keeper.

GOAL - 65 MINS Ruddy grabs his second of the match and Grangetowns fifth after Donachie sends in a low cross to see him finish past the Translift keeper.

Grangetown continue to dominate playing against the wind with some good quality passing football throughout the team.
GOAL - 72 MINS Donachie scores his second of the match after a great through ball from Liam Lawlor.
GOAL - 73 MINS Translift score their only goal of the game when forward Peter Marshall lobs the on coming Grangetown keeper.
The last ten minutes of the game see's Grangetown dominate against the wind playing some neat passing football, Hutchinson as a one-on-one with the Translift keeper but shoots just wide, Donachie then as a header cleared off the line and then misses an open goal.
GOAL - 89 MINS Hutchinson completes his hat-trick after a goos cross in from Peter Kelly to make the final score 7-1 to Grangetown.
