Kicked off at 10:15 AM

The match started with Grangetown visiting Scarborough side Castle Tavern in the North Riding Challenege Cup. After winning the kick off Grangetown were soon on the attack with Ste Hutchinson's header just over the bar, after 4mins Grangetown scored their first goal of the game when Stuart Roberts hit the post from 25 yards only for it to rebound for striker Donachie to tap into an empty net. Hutchinson then went close again for Grangetown when good work from Peter Kelly set him up only to shoot wide.

In the 9th minute Roberts again unleashed a left foot shot only to see it hit the same post and rebound to safety and a minute later Grangetown scored their second of the match when good work from Donachie and Lawlor set Hutchinson up to tap home.

Grangetown could of extended their lead three minutes later when Hutchinson headed wide from a Stuart Roberts cross, on 15mins Jamie Lincoln shot over from a Roberts corner and again on 19mins Grangetowns man of the match Ste Scott shoots well over from a free kick.

GOAL - Grangetown got their 3rd goal of the game when Harry Taylor sent in a free kick high into the box to find Liam Lawlor finish with a headed into the back of the net.

GOAL - Donachie taps in from a Ste Scott cross into the box on 25mins and a minute later Hutchinson hits the post after good work by Scott.

GOAL - On 36mins Grangetown striker Donachie completes his hat-trick with a great strike from 25yards to fly in off the post.

Castle Tavern then got back into the game with two qiuck goals in the 40th minute scored by Sam Goodwin and 43mins Alex Yeahat tapping in to make the half time score 2-5 to Grangetown.

HALF TIME 2-5

The second half kicked off with Grangetown winning the ball back and going straight on the attack and three minutes into the second half Grangetown scored their 6th of the game when Jamie Lincoln ran through and rounded the keeper after a good through ball from Ste Scott.

On 50mins Harry Taylor unleashed the goal of the game with a 25yard shot into the top corner of the net after a good 30yard run to extend Grangetowns lead in the match.

Three minutes later Grangetown extend their lead further when Donachie scores his fourth of the game from good work by Ste Scott see's Donachie shoot with a low drive into the bottom corner of the net.

On 62nd minute Tavern were awarded a dubious penalty when Harry Taylor apprehended a Tavern player for Chris Gillespie to slot home for Taverns third of the game.

GOAL - On 64minutes Ste Hutchinson shoots low into the net after good work from Jamie Lincoln to extend Grangetown lead to 9-3.

Grangetown then go close again when a Liam Lawlor's header hits the cross bar and ends up being cleared.

Grangetown stiker Donachie scores his fifth of the game and Grangetowns tenth after a tap in from 8 yards.

SUBSTITUTION - 67 MINS Alan Taylor replaces Andrew Donachie.

GOAL - After only being on the pitch for a matter of 7 minute Alan Taylor foiled the off-side trap to be left one-on-one with the advancing keeper to take the ball around him and slot home for Grangetowns eleventh of the game.

SUBSTITUTION - 75 MINS James Hill replaces Stuart Roberts.

Grangetown sub Hill scores two goals in three minutes with support from Lawlor and Scott. On the 80th minute Tavern get their fourth of the game when Sam Walker scores.

In the 89th minute Liam Lawlor gets his second of the game and Grangetowns 14th of the day to see Grangetown ease into the second round of the cup.
