Away league match played on 08 September 2013.
Kicked off at 10:45 AM

Hamilton took to the pitch again looking for a bounce back after losing the week before and bounce back they did in incredible fashion.

Hammy kick off playing 3-5-2

For the first 16 minutes Hamilton looked in good control of the game when Captain Dave Richardson ran into trouble and was forced to give the ball away to Matt Pounde who clearly handballed to control, but incredibily the referee let play carry on for Steve Palmer to commit a foul. From the resulting free kick Hamilton through Rico and Flaherty failed to clear for Luke Oliver to smash the ball from 15 yds into the roof of the net. 1v0

From the kick off Hamilton were all over the show for 2 mins. Looking for offside {Stuart Woods was acting like he was hailing a Taxi} and incredibly stopping and watching.  Nick Woon ran through, rounded the keeper and scored. 2v0

From the kick off again Hamilton seemed to go into panic mode and again Staplegrove ran through after Hickman and Woods contrived to give the ball away. Luckily this time Woods blocked the shot on the line to avert another goal {was he still hailing the Taxi ?}

23 mins. From a goal kick Osborne rose to head the ball 25 yds stright into the path of Hawkins who ran through 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper to knock the ball in from 18yds 2v1

28 mins. Palmer plays a long pass into Hawkins who feeds Osborne. Ozzy beats/evades 3 players before coolly slotting the ball into the corner from 18 yds 2v2

33 mins  Hawkins rides 3 tackles to fire just wide

Hamilton swith to 4-5-1

39 mins- Ali Pounde sells Hamilton Dave Hardie to home in on goal only for the impressive Seb Kapral to save with his legs

41 mins- Yellow card to Staplegrove - dissent

Half time

For the second half Steve Palmer after a great first half needed to withdraw for Hooky coming on.

48 mins  Bellringer - impressive today chasing everything chased after another lost ball, slid under the defender to scoop the ball back and feed Hawkins who just fires wide.

50 mins  Flaherty driving the midfield chased down a loose ball to win it and poke it froward into Bartlett`s path who goes through 1 on 1 only to see his effort saved  by the keepers legs.

55 mins  Staplegrove and former Taunton Town Captain Darren Rice goes clean through to shoot and put it wide although ref pulls it back for offside.

57 mins - The moment of the match - Bellringer produces a flick on the run with the outside of his foot into the path of Hawkins who smashes a left foot screamer from 25 yds- Goooooooaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll 2v3  to Hammy!

What a game of football. What resilience Hamilton showed to bounce back from 2v0 down.

Every single player performed magnificently form themselves and their team-mates today  and they got what they deserved- A Victory.

Well done everyone
