Home league match played on 20 April 2014.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

Hemlington Social Club FC hosted CCMI FC on a sunny but chilly wind morning .

The home team dominating possesion but no clear cut chances created or taken as the final ball seemed to be forced and early efforts going way wide or over until the 30th minute when Anthony Biswas again beat CCMI left back for pace as he dribbled down the right wing and crossed near post for lone striker Dan Caney to nod in . 1-0

There was'nt much more to report during the first half CCMI not having a shot at goal and Hemlington continuing to dominate possesion with only handful of chances falling to Matty Nelson and Biswas.

After half time discussion amongst the players Hemlington set out looking to kill of the game and kill off the game they did .

After ko Hemo won a throw in near the opposition box which Ashley Trodden took early to strike Caney who then laid off to centre mid Richard May who crossed to the back post from the outside right side position for Paul Jenkins to rise above the defending full back and headed in from 3 yards out .47th minute 2-0.

Straight from kick off Hemlington pressured the opposition and when the ball went back to CCMI centre back the on coming Paul Jenkins disposessed the slow reacting defender and put Dan Caney through one on one againt the keeper whom then finished confidently to make it 3-0 in the 53rd minute.

Again the dominating home team punished CCMI ten minutes later when Richard May laid the ball inside for fellow centre mid partner Adam Houseby to strike from 25 yards out as the CCMI Keeper could only parry the bobbling effort into the back off the net . Houseby looked on in delight after scoring his first goal for the club in his first start . 4-0 62nd minute.

Two subsitutions were made by Hemlinton Neil McLoughlin and Chris Marks on for Richard May and Dan Caney

Now Hemlinton seen blood and kept up the pressure and another defensive mistake seen a miss kick from CCMI centre back and captain allowed Hemlington skipper Jenkins to hit a deflected shot from 20 yards out beating the keeper to make it 5-0 67th minute.

Two minutes later Paul Jenkins been a constant thorn in there side won a penalty after been fouled in the box and the usual taker Jenkins unselfishly allowed Hemlington goal keeper Damon Sizer take the resulting penalty beating his counter part by sending the keeper in the wrong direction. 6-0 69th minute.

Now the degected CCMI seemed to have lost all fight that frustrated the home team in the first half conceded again when a free kick taken deep in Hemlingtons half by Adam Houseby go long for McLoughlin to bring down edge of the area and a quick passing interchange between him and skipper Jenkins who then put Chris Marks through on goal to finish and also score his first goal for the club . 7-0 74th minute.

Straight from CCMI ko Hemlington won possesion and Biswas played the ball down the right wing for Chris Marks to take in his stride and into the box to shoot across goal and score in the left corner of the net 8-0 76th minute.

again almost a carbon copy of the previous goal Biswas winning possesion playing the ball down the right wing into the path of Chris Marks who again drove into the box but this time cutting the ball across the 6 yard box for Niel McLoughlin to tap into the net at the back post. 9-0 79th minute.

The third and final subsitution seen Matty Devine come on for Adam Houseby

And Devine had almost an instant impact as his well taken corner to the front post seen attacking Biswas to score his first goal also by heading from 6 yards out .10-0 83rd minute.

there could of been man of the match awards given right across the squad on the day Ryan Foster , Ashley Trodden and Ste Chilver impressing at the back ,Houseby and May been heavily involved in a lot of the play and right wing performances of Biswas then Marks were superb lone striker roles impeccably performed by Caney and McLoughlin but man of the match went to captain a constant pain in the ass but should of scored his hattrick Paul Jenkins . great result but the hard work to come in title decider on tuesday night .
