Home league match played on 19 March 2011.
Kicked off at 1:00 PM

BATTERED BRUISED BUT STILL STANDING.

HARRY ALLEN – REALLY UNLUCKY FOR THE GOAL, VERY BRAVE TODAY AND SHOULD BE PROUD OF HIMSELF.

JOSH O’NEIL – ANOTHER BATTLING PERFORMANCE AND TOOK A REAL BAD TACKLE TO HIS ANKLE BUT SOLDIERED ON.

LIAM BROWN – GAVE AS GOOD AS HE GOT AND A FANTASTIC BRAVE PERFORMANCE TO WIN THE M.O.T.M.

ANTONY HEWITT – HAD A REAL TOUGH TIME OF IT, BUT CAN HOLD HIS HEAD UP HIGH AFTER TODAYS GAME.

ADAM FORD – HIS NORMAL GAME WAS AFFECTED BY THE TOUGH TACKLES THAT CAME IN. UNLUCKY WHEN HITTING THE CROSSBAR.

HAYDEN SMITH – TRIED IN VAIN TO GET THE EQUALISER, ANOTHER WHO HAD A REAL BATTLE GOING ON.

KYLE FITTON – BULLIED IN THE FIRST HALF, BUT STOOD UP FOR HIMSELF IN THE SECOND.

LEWIS BRAMWELL – HAD A HARD TIME OF IT WITH THE TWO BRUISING DEFENDERS HE FACED BUT GAVE IT HIS ALL.

ALEX HEWITT – ONLY HAD A FEW MINUTES OF GAME TIME DUE TO THE ROUGH TACKLES THAT WERE FLYING IN.

DARREN KNEBEL – UNUSED SUB.

JUST TO SAY THAT I HOPE WE DON’T COME ACROSS THESE GAMES TOO OFTEN. WE HAVE TRIED TO TEACH THE LADS THIS SEASON HOW TO PLAY FOOTBALL AS IT SHOULD BE PLAYED.

THE FIRST HALF WE WERE GETTING KICKED ALL OVER THE PLACE AND THE REFEREE SHOULD HAVE PUT A STOP TO IT BUT UNFORTUNEATELY HE DIDN’T AND IT GOT WORSE IN THE SECOND HALF. WE THEN HAD TO RESORT TO PLAYING DIRTY JUST TO GET BACK IN THIS CONTEST WHICH WE HAVEN’T DONE ALL SEASON.

ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT THE LADS REALLY DUG IN AND THEY ALL DESERVE A MEDAL FOR HAVING TO PUT UP WITH THE DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR OF THE OPPOSITION. WE MAY HAVE LOST THIS GAME BY AN UNLUCKY OWN GOAL BUT REALISTICLY WE COULD AND SHOULD HAVE WON IT. ONCE AGAIN WE ARE ALL VERY PROUD OF THE EFFORT THAT WAS PUT IN.
