Away league match played on 09 June 2012.

BRILLIANT ONCE AGAIN TODAY,WITH A BIT OF LUCK WE COULD HAVE SNATCHED 3 POINTS WHICH I THINK ON THE WHOLE WE DESERVED.

GIVE CREDIT TO MEDLOCK AS THEY GAVE AS GOOD AS THEY GOT IN AWFUL CONDITIONS AND PLAYED THE GAME IN GOOD SPIRIT.

FIRST HALF WAS VERY GOOD.. HARRY AS USUAL MOPPED UP ANY BALLS THAT WERE PLAYED THROUGH US AND ONCE AGAIN WITH THE BACK THREE(JACK LIAM AND KINGY) HOLDING A GOOD LINE AND CATCHING MEDLOCKS FRONT PAIR OFFSIDE ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE MIDFIELD(HAYDEN ADAM AND CONNEL) TOOK A LITTLE LONGER TO GET INTO THE GAME BUT EVENTUALLY GOT TO GRIPS WITH THE SKIDDY SURFACE. THE TWO STRIKERS(ALEX AND LUKE MADE GOOD MOVEMENT AND HELD THE BALL UP VERY WELL.

HONOURS EVEN AT HALF TIME WITH NEITHER TEAM BEING ABLE TO GET THAT ALL IMPORTANT BREAK THROUGH. THE LADS TOOK ALL THE ADVICE WE COULD GIVE THEM DURING THE 5 MINUTE BREAK AS LIKE LAST WEEK THEY WERE TOLD TO KEEP IT SIMPLE AND TO MOVE THE BALL A BIT QUICKER.

SECOND HALF AND THE LADS UPPED THE TEMPO MAKING CHANCE AFTER CHANCE BUT STILL THE GAME WAS AT STALEMATE. AGAINST THE RUN OFF PLAY MEDLOCK WENT A GOAL UP WITH A VERY GOOD FINISH FROM JUST OUTSIDE THE LEFT HAND AREA, HARRY DIDN'T STAND A CHANCE.

NOW THE LADS LOOKED REALLY DOWN AND NOT SUPRISING AS THEY HAD PUT IN SO MUCH EFFORT IT WAS VERY HARSH ON THEM.

THERE WAS STILL PLENTY OF TIME TO GET BACK INTO IT AND STRAIGHT AWAY THEY DID. CONSTANT PROBING PAID OF WITH THE BALL COMING TO ALEX WHO WITHOUT HESITATING SMASHED AN UNSTOPPABLE SHOT INTO THE TOP LEFT HAND CORNER OF THE GOAL GETTING HEYSIDE REDS BACK ON LEVEL TERMS.

MORE CHANCES CAME OUR WAY(CONNOR WAS VERY UNLUCKY ON ACOUPLE OF OCCASIONS) BUT WERE SAVED OR SQUANDERED,SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO THINK THESE LADS ARE ONLY TEN YEARS OF AGE AND CARRY ALOT OF EXPECTATION ON THEIR SHOULDERS WEEK BY WEEK AND CREDIT GOES TO THEM AGAIN THIS WEEK FOR DIGGING DEEP AND NEVER GIVING UP IN TESTING CONDITIONS.

THE PASSING AND MOVEMENT IS PROGRESSING VERY NICELY WE JUST NEED A FEW MORE GOALS IN GAMES SUCH AS THIS AND IT WILL THEN START TO SHOW WHAT A GOOD SET OF LADS THEY REALLY ARE.

HARRY ALLEN - GETS BETTER EVERY WEEK,KICKING WAS BRILLIANT TODAY,COULD DO NOTHING ABOUT MEDLOCKS GOAL.

JACK DOWD - LITTLE MAN IS FULL OF DETERMINATION AND BATTLED ONCE AGAIN.

LIAM BROWN - USED HIS EXPERIENCE VERY WELL AND HIS LAST DITCH TACKLE IN THE FIRST HALF SUMMED UP WHAT HE IS ALL ABOUT.

JOSH KING - TOOK A BIT TO GET INTO THE GAME BUT LISTENED VERY WELL TO ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT WERE GIVEN.

ADAM FORD - WON A FEW MEATY CHALLENGES AND PLAYED IN A FEW POSITIONS VERY UNLUCKY NOT TO SCORE TODAY.

HAYDEN SMITH - BECOMING VERY RELIABLE AND VERSITILE AGAIN ANOTHER WHO NEARLY GOT ON THE SCORE SHEET.

CONNEL MALLON - GAVE EVERYTHING ONCE AGAIN CAME MORE INTO GAME WHEN SWITCHED TO THE RIGHT.

LUKE CASEY - SOME NICE MOVEMENT UP FRONT AND BOSSED MIDFIELD IN THE SECOND HALF.

ALEX WILLIAMS - SAVED THE DAY WITH HIS STUNNING FINISH,ANOTHER WHO GOT BETTER AND BETTER AS THE GAME WORE ON.

CONNOR KNOWLES - NEARLY SCORED BUT JUST HIT THE SIDE NETTING IS GETTING INTO SOME REALLY GOOD POSITIONS AND ANOTHER GOOD EFFORT.

AGAIN AS COACHES WE CANT TELL YOU HOW PROUD WE REALLY ARE OF THESE KIDS, THE GRIT AND DETERMINATION OF NOT WANTING TO GET BEAT TODAY REALLY IS VERY PLEASING INDEED AND ALSO CAME VERY CLOSE TO GETTING ALL 3 POINTS WHICH ON THE RUN OF PLAY IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN UNJUST.

GAMES WILL START TO GET HARDER AND HARDER AND AS LONG AS WE KEEP IMPROVING AND WORKING AS A UNIT THEN WE WON'T BE FAR OFF.....CHADDERTON F.C. JUNIORS IS NEXT UP  SO HOPEFULLY WE WILL BE BACK TO NEAR FULL STRENGTH FOR THAT ONE.

WELL DONE ONCE AGAIN FOR TODAY ;)
