Inter Ya Nan welcomed Fub FC to the Fives Pavillion on 11 October 2026 for a 6-a-side league encounter, kicking off at 6:30pm. In a shortened 40-minute match plus injury time, Inter Ya Nan delivered a commanding performance, running out 6-0 victors in front of a small but appreciative crowd of seven.
Inter Ya Nan set up in a 2-2-1 formation, deploying two central defenders, two central midfielders, and a lone striker. Joe Lees guarded the goal, supported at the back by central defenders Joe Dyke and Leyton Woloxall. In midfield, Harry Bucknall and Harry Biddulph took up central roles, tasked with both defensive duties and creative playmaking. Leading the line was Sam Walton as the striker, expected to spearhead attacks and convert chances. The substitutes available were Joseph Lathe and Louis Greenley.
The match burst into life early as Harry Bucknall opened the scoring in the third minute, demonstrating his attacking intent from midfield. Inter Ya Nan’s midfield duo quickly established their dominance, with Bucknall providing the creative spark and Biddulph the clinical finishing. Bucknall’s vision was on full display when he assisted Biddulph twice in quick succession, first at the 11th minute and then immediately again at the 12th, putting Inter Ya Nan firmly in control.
Shortly after these goals, a tactical change saw Joseph Lathe replace Sam Walton in the 13th minute, signalling a shift in approach. The substitution paid dividends almost immediately as Lathe set up Joe Dyke for a goal in the 14th minute, extending the lead further. The midfield continued to impress as Bucknall returned the favour with an assist to Biddulph, who scored again in the 18th minute. Biddulph then added a further goal of his own in the 19th minute, completing a remarkable individual contribution.
The first half concluded at the 20-minute mark with Inter Ya Nan leading 6-0, a scoreline that reflected their dominance in both possession and chance creation. The defensive pairing of Dyke and Woloxall had kept a clean sheet, while the midfield and attack combined seamlessly to dismantle Fub FC’s resistance.
The second half featured a flurry of substitutions as Inter Ya Nan rotated their squad to maintain energy and control. Sam Walton returned to the pitch in place of Leyton Woloxall at the 23rd minute, only for Woloxall to come back on at the 30th minute, replacing Joseph Lathe. Lathe was then reintroduced at 32 minutes, substituting off the prolific Harry Biddulph, who had been the standout performer up to that point.
Further changes followed as Biddulph returned to the field at 34 minutes, replacing Joe Dyke, only for Dyke to come back on a minute later due to an injury to Biddulph. This injury forced another substitution at 37 minutes, with Louis Greenley coming on for Dyke to shore up the defence for the closing stages.
Throughout the match, Inter Ya Nan’s midfielders, particularly Harry Biddulph, were instrumental in controlling the tempo and creating opportunities. Biddulph’s three goals and overall influence earned him the player of the match accolade, highlighting his pivotal role in the comprehensive victory.
Inter Ya Nan’s clinical finishing, tactical flexibility, and defensive solidity ensured a resounding 6-0 triumph over Fub FC at home. The team’s ability to rotate players without losing momentum bodes well for their campaign as they continue to impress in this 6-a-side league format.
