On 9 August 2026, Inter Ya Nan welcomed Tenpin Tuesdays to Fives Pavillion for a 6-a-side league encounter, kicking off at 7:10pm. The match lasted 40 minutes plus added time, with Inter Ya Nan securing a commanding 4-1 victory over their visitors.

Inter Ya Nan lined up in a 2-1-2 formation, deploying two central defenders, a central midfielder, and two forwards positioned on the right and left flanks. Leyton Woloxall guarded the goal, while Jack Myatt and Charlie Jones formed the defensive spine. Will Husbands took the pivotal role in central midfield, tasked with linking defence and attack. Up front, Jayden Roberts operated on the right forward position, with Zac Knight on the left forward slot, expected to provide width and goal threat. The substitutes bench featured Sam Walton, ready to make an impact when called upon.

The game burst into life early as Jack Myatt opened the scoring in the 6th minute with a stunning long-range strike from outside the box, expertly curled in with his left foot following an assist from Zac Knight. This early goal set the tone for Inter Ya Nan’s attacking intent. Just three minutes later, Will Husbands doubled the lead with another impressive long-range effort, again assisted by Roberts.

Shortly after, in the 13th minute, Sam Walton replaced Jack Myatt, signalling a tactical tweak from Inter Ya Nan. However, Tenpin Tuesdays responded swiftly, pulling a goal back in the 14th minute with a close-range finish inside the box, giving the visitors a glimmer of hope. The first half concluded at the 20-minute mark with Inter Ya Nan maintaining a 2-1 advantage.

The second half saw further substitutions as Jack Myatt returned to the pitch in place of Jayden Roberts at 21 minutes, followed by a quick rotation where Jayden Roberts came back on for Zac Knight at 26 minutes. Zac Knight was then reintroduced for Sam Walton two minutes later, indicating a fluid approach to personnel management by Inter Ya Nan’s Head Coach.

Inter Ya Nan regained control and extended their lead in the 31st minute when Zac Knight scored from close range inside the box, capitalising on a precise assist from Will Husbands. The midfielder’s vision and passing range were key throughout the match. Four minutes later, Jayden Roberts added a fourth goal, firing in a powerful strike from outside the box, again set up by Husbands, who was instrumental in orchestrating the attacking play.

Further substitutions followed as Sam Walton replaced Will Husbands in the 36th minute, only for Husbands to return on for Charlie Jones a minute later. The final substitution saw Charlie Jones come back on for Jayden Roberts in the 39th minute, rounding off a series of tactical changes in the closing stages.

Will Husbands was deservedly named player of the match for his commanding presence in midfield, contributing a goal and two assists, and consistently driving Inter Ya Nan forward. His ability to influence the game from central midfield was a decisive factor in the team’s comprehensive victory.

Inter Ya Nan’s blend of solid defensive organisation, midfield creativity, and clinical finishing ensured they dominated proceedings at Fives Pavillion, leaving Tenpin Tuesdays with little chance to mount a comeback. The 4-1 scoreline reflected their superiority in this fast-paced 6-a-side contest.
