Home friendly match played on 18 May 2014.
Kicked off at 2:30 PM

Sunday 18 May 2014. It was a fine day on a fine turf. The White Skull in blue, were warming up to face the Nestle team, which has proven to be a formidable team to play. La Noon first eleven were Das, Fafi, Hazwan, Totoi, Yusuf, Ameer, Danish, Joe, Alex, Maw and Lan, with a 4-5-1 formation. The game kickoff at 2.30pm.

The game started off with equal pressure frrom both team, who looked to play a high tempo game which focused on long through passes to the attacking forces. Despite all the remarkable attacking talents, one couldn’t have told the difference in both teams. La Noon looked to show magnificient play in trio midfielders Danish,Lan and Ameer with sublime passes to lightning fast wingers Joe and Maw. Alex as usual bamboozled the front with hardcore running and predator instinct to rampage the ball into the back of the net. The towering defenders, Fafi, Hazwan and Totoi were exceptional in dealing with the attacking force of Nestle. Then somewhere in the first half, with typical White Skull fashion, La Noon found the breakthrough against the disciplined Nestle back four. A rare long pass from Fafi near to our own penalty box saw Aziq the flash, pick a quick run, slashing the great armour defence of Nestle, dribbling along the way towards the post before unleashing a powerful shot. La Noon 1 Nestle 0.

Seemingly unimpressed to the fact that they had gone a goal down, the popular beverages brand men continued to storm forward. In the second half, their attack efforts were divinely granted by Yusuf poor backpass, and La Noon have to paid the price..the back pass was intercepted and in seconds, the ball has already in the back of the net, easily blasted off by the striker. La Noon 1 Nestle 1.

Azeem Mourinho men had the majority of the possession, but didn’t seem to have the finishing in the final third. The perseverance of the Nestle soon paid off. A foul by Yusuf (again, twice already) has won the Nestle a freekick, 30 yards from the goal. And while La Noon was still in commotion (Not even finished to make a freekick wall for god sake), a fast and short grounder pass to Nestle striker, delightfully tap the ball into the back of the net, leaving Das rooted to the spot. Nestle were 2-1 up, and the La Noon players simply not amused with the goal.

This goal seemed to wake La Noon from their dormant state. They finally looked a bit more confident in their passing and general play. Consequently Dino got some space after a great run from the heart of midfield but could not blasted a shot. The long awaited equalizer came soon after that, as a nice pass from Hazwan to Azid has gave Azid the chance to centre the ball to Mat Tabuan which then proceeded to kick the ball towards the net, but succesfully parred by the goalkeeper but the parred ball luckily falls into Ijan running route in the penalty box and he finished the ball off with full power of course. La Noon 2 Nestle 2.

La Noon had the better of the possession, but Nestle had more clear chances on goal. Nevertheless, La Noon still battling hard to secure a win but it was not that easy to slice in the Nestle defense system. Its like they have this invisible wall behind their goalkeeper in the final minutes, and any unwanted force into the net would crumbled into pieces. This exciting match however  ended with a 2 - 2 draw.
