In a commanding display of football, Lads Club Juniors U11 triumphed over Lads Club Girls with a resounding scoreline of 10-0 in a friendly match held at their home ground on 13 May 2025. The match kicked off at 6:20pm and showcased the Juniors' attacking prowess and tactical superiority throughout the 60 minutes of play.

The Juniors lined up in a 2-5-1 formation, designed to bolster their midfield presence while maintaining a solid defensive base. Lucas Price took his position as goalkeeper, with Archie Rigby and Romeo Roberts forming the central defensive duo. The midfield was packed with creativity and energy, featuring Chase Bracegirdle on the right, Charlie Swain and Thomi Scoular centrally, and Charlie Arnold on the left. Up front, Oscar Jones led the attack as the lone striker, expected to convert chances and apply pressure on the opposition's defence. The substitutes for the match included Musa Touray, Ivy, Bodhi Round, Finn Jones, and Frankie Scoular.

In the 12th minute, Ivy made her presence felt with an attempt on goal, although it did not result in a score. However, the Juniors doubled their lead in the 19th minute when Charlie Swain scored from close range, assisted by a well-placed cross from Thomi Scoular.

The substitutions continued as Lucas Price was replaced by Chase Bracegirdle in the 21st minute, with Ivy also making way for Flyn Watkins. The Juniors maintained their momentum, and just moments later, Ivy scored her first goal of the match, converting a cross from Finn Jones to make it 3-0.

Defensive efforts from Ivy were notable, as she made an interception in the 22nd minute and followed it up with a tackle in the 28th minute, showcasing her all-round contribution to the team. The Juniors scored again in the 26th minute, with Finn Jones netting a goal after a slick team move, assisted by Oscar Jones.

Oscar Jones added to his tally in the 29th minute with a close-range tap-in, extending the lead to 5-0. The first half concluded with a series of substitutions, including Charlie Swain coming on for Archie Rigby and Lucas Price returning to the pitch, replacing Chase Bracegirdle.

The second half commenced with fresh legs, and the Juniors continued to dominate. Musa Touray had another attempt saved in the 37th minute, but Thomi Scoular made no mistake moments later, scoring a solo goal to push the score to 6-0. Charlie Arnold delivered a key cross that just missed the head of Oscar to keep the score at 6-0.

Finn Jones was instrumental in creating chances, making a key long pass in the 40th minute that led to a scoring opportunity. The Juniors' relentless attack saw Lucas Price score in the 45th minute, converting a long pass from Chase Bracegirdle to make it 7-0.

Flyn Watkins added to the tally in the 48th minute, scoring from inside the box with a cutting effort after a short pass from Oscar Jones. The substitutions continued as Finn Jones replaced Lucas Price, and Thomi Scoular came back on for Charlie Arnold.

Despite a few attempts that went wide, the Juniors were not finished yet. Oscar Jones scored again in the 56th minute during a goalmouth scramble, followed by Thomi Scoular sealing the emphatic victory with a goal in the 58th minute, making it 10-0 with a right-footed finish from inside the box. Frankie Scoular did a sterling job between the posts with Romeo Roberts and Archie Rigby putting a stop to any direct attacks on thier goal.

The match concluded with Lads Club Juniors U11 showcasing their attacking flair and teamwork, leaving Lads Club Girls with a daunting defeat to reflect upon. A massive shout out to all the girls who showed strength and courage throughout the game they didn't back out of any challenges and put the boys on the backfoot on many occasions ??????
