Home league match played on 07 March 2010.
Kicked off at 12:30 PM

Well what can i say about this match, you never gave me and dave 100% commitment.

you gave us 120% commitment and with that type of commitment me and dave are going to struggle picking the starting 11 for the rest of the remaining fixtures.

Lner started the match knowing that they had to beat the teams in and around them in the league table

and that showed with lner winning so many battles all over the park and kept there concentration for the whole match,

i cant remember ever seeing so many different players winning headers

which was a joy to see,

but also we was closing the ball down extremly well and winning tackles that we wouldnt normally win.

the one thing we still didnt do too well was passing the ball to feet and losing the ball in silly areas but luckily we wasnt punished for our mistakes today as our players made recovery runs and positioned their self's very well,so well done to the whole team.

lner took the lead 45mins into the game after lner won another corner,           from the corner the ball fizzed around in the box with a few players having there shots blocked then the ball broke loose to walid who then found dylan with a tidy pass who was in 2 yards of space on the edge of the box in which he cooly finished into the top left corner with a screamer of a goal worthy of goal of the season and sending everyone involved at lner into mass celebrations.

lner always looked like they was going to score but to be honest we couldnt get out of St Andrews half  and with minute's to go st andrews did score but unfortunately for them the ball went out of play before the ball was crossed for a tidy finish from there forward but it was about time lady luck was on our side and we held out for the win.

before the match i said every match was now a cup final,

and the whole team come off the pitch like they won a cup final, it was just soo nice to see everyone leaving a match with huge smiles on their face's

& i really thought that some of the parents would stay behind and help with the nets and flags as it was a nice sunny day but im sure they'll all help out from time 2 time.

the boy's deserved all three points & its a shame we cant give them extra points for effort as thats the type of display that can win all match's.

well done boy's keep up the hard hard good work.
