The following is a highlight reel from yesterday’s actions

3rd & 4th Min. Game starts with a few corners from dribble finding the head of Shirley, good solid headers that on another day (next week hopefully)may have found the net.

25th Min. First goal, a miracle “shot” that surprisingly Wilson actually admitted was merely a duffed cross. In the end it was the long range effort of the season, netted from 35 meters out.

30th Min. Will injures himself, I’ve got no idea how. Let us know what the Physio says mate.

35th Min. Porirua comes close to scoring off the head of Davey. Well handled by Bolts, who had a solid game keeping another clean sheet.

Half Time. 1-0

55th Min. A stunning Falcon by Davey courtesy of a clearance by Shirley. Straight back onto his feet though which is more that can be said for…

60th Min. Jono takes one in the vagina, goes down like he’s got nuts in order to keep up appearances. Stays on the carpet whilst play goes on, the defensive line did not notice.

70th Min. A good run by Joel down the left to the goal line followed by a low cross across goal. A dummy/mishit from myself left the ball running through to Beauy who slotted it home. 2-0

80th Min. Some excellent interplay down the left by Joel, Beauy and Myself gave Greg so much time he didn’t know what to do, eventually winning a corner.

Hope you enjoyed this diet version of a match report.

First round of shots is on me next week if we can muster up one last victory.
