Match Report by Mary Dendy Secretary Matt Eagles:

Having suffered some heavy defeats of late morale was low at Mary Dendy but hopes of a win were boosted by an early goal against Bulls Head Poynton as Matt Stott scored direct from a free-kick. However that was as good as it got and a Matt Dent hat-trick plus further goals from Paul Fairweather and Dave Norbury meant Dendy trailed 5-1. Matt Morris did pull another one back but manager Chris Shepherd faces a tough task to pick his team up for their Inter –League cup tie with Curshaws next weekend.

Match Report by Mary Dendy Assistant Manager Dave Vickers:

MARY DENDY 2 BULLS HEAD 5

Disappointment is what i felt watching this game.
We were 1-0 up against a team who earlier in the season we would have beaten i think. Poor defending made it 2-1 to Bulls head by half time. A strange sub at half time and the lack of fitness compared to Bulls head plus the fact they passed it quicker then DENDY and the score became 5-1. I feel they deserved the win becau...se they passed better, wanted it more and were fitter. Matt the keeper walking off after the 5th showed poor character which embarrassed himself and the team. A late goal well taken by Matt Morris made the score line a little better but didn't hide the fact the DENDY ship is still in rough waters. Bulls head had a decent keeper and a few good players but most of all they have youth and desire which will help them improve. Donkey was Matt say no more. Man of the match was Matt Morris for the second game running. I voted for Tom who just missed out as man of the match because i felt he was the one DENDY player who put his foot on the ball and looked up and passed.
