MARY DENDY 4 MITCH RES 2

HALF TIME 2-0

It was good to be home at last after a few games on the road. The pitch was in fine form after the heavy rain. It had been nicely cut and lined. I think it was in the best shape i have seen it. There would be no excuses for not playing football on it today.

A large turn out gave Shep plenty to think about when picking his team.

Dendy striker Danny Vickers making a welcome return to the troublesome forward role.

MITCH RES were a young team that worked hard. To be fair with better finishing and a couple of fine saves from Perry in the Dendy net the game might have been different.

Luke scored a hat trick. Two of which were cracking shots. The Dendy fourth goal was scored by Shaun after a Dendy free kick was flicked on by Shaun's head into the net.

Shep managed to give players a run out and hold onto the win.

MiITCH RES did give DENDY concern with a goal in injury time. The injury time seemed forever but was only 5 mins in which a call for a MITCH penalty was close for me.

Plus points. Back on the Winning trail. Danny Vickers looked good up front. He hasn't played since last years legends game. Perry looking solid in goal. Good performances from man of the match Luke and close runner up Jack. Today again everyone gave their all with nobody having a bad game.

Minus points. Still a very unsettled team sheet. Injury to Captain Adam. Yes Shaun the team is still unfit to some of the other teams we have to play. But i would say Dendy were the most handsome team today.

Man of the match LUKE hat trick hero

Donkey Sprucie for missing his attempted over head kick (to be fair keep trying it)

Food at the Egerton arms was Turkey Stew, yorkshire puds and chips.
