Wolves failed to hold on to one goal lead and 10-man Avatar battled for a draw once again this season for the 2nd time.

First half started poorly, many of times Wolves wasn't able to pass out of our own halves. Adr Chia was found lagging in many occasions, unable to find a simple pass forward and yet loses possession creating dangerous situations for Wolves. Clayton Soh seemed not in his best form, losing focus in many situations and distributed poorly which almost cost us some goals.

First goal came in from a corner by Avatar, scorer managed to shake of Hanxiang and had a free header. Nodded straight into the net. 0-1

We were playing too deeply into our own halves and sucked into their play resulting in lack of attacking options in the first half. Right side of our pitch was totally quiet for almost the full half, the closest chance came by was a pretty flick by Weihao Ng to Wyman Cleverley whom was clear to take a shot but tough luck there, Avatar still leads.

PC was once again lucky to get away from sending off, with one yellow already awarded, he handled the ball with his arms in two occasions but only was caught by the referee once.

Again, with plenty of talents on the bench, we subbed almost the whole team into the 2nd half, whom also includes Anron Koh coming back from injury.

Although being just 80% fit, Chye was brilliant in his display, spotting runs and providing deadly balls into the attacking play. With the introduction of Chye & Ryan, Wolves certainly look more deadly and bound to score anytime soon.

Melvin took a freekick & sent a deadly ball into 6yards and all Sam was needed is to have a touch and we equalized. Great ball in from our commando! And just 5mins later, Melvin once again gave a killer ball into the box to Chye and was brought down almost instantly by the centreback. Red card given and penalty awarded. Sam confidently steps up and took it, 2-1. Wolves lead for the first time in this match.

Couple of bad calls came by and one of it went against Alex whom was clearly fouled but ref calls for the other way. Avatar took the 35yard freekick with much haste, spotted Edward off his position and sent the ball straight into the net.

With just 10man, Avatar FC managed to hold for a draw, and statistically superior over us. Opponents dominated possession once again, there is a NEED to improve greatly on our possession game. 2nd half was indeed more lively with attacking display by our side but it was due to more individual skills from certain players rather than a total team effort. We need to work harder on that to improve our game , especially on the passing & possession.

Was indeed a good comeback initially but we only had ourselves to blame for that equalizer. We allowed them with just 10man to press us hard and eventually hold for a draw. Even though it was a bad call against us for the goal, we had already lost focus with all the bickering and arguments on the pitch.

Edward stressed upon a very good point on whatever happens on the pitch, its part and parcel of the game, it is a nature of it be it deliberately or not. We have to really learn to stress upon our discipline and not take it out too personally when it comes to such situations. Referees are there to handle it and we just have to play our game.

Today's result was indeed disappointing, although it was conceded from a bad decision by the referee, we still do have to take some blame to allow that to happen. Lets get over with this and look forward to our next league fixture, against the leaders 3weeks later (17nov).

Hanxiang was worth every mention in providing an excellent performance for Wolves today, he cleared many dangerous situations and kept us in the game, he was literally everywhere when we needed him. Even though he wasn't in his best form the last game, he indeed proved his worth in this. Kudos on winning MOM for his awesome display today!

Cheers.
