Pro Shottas Senior hosted Silver Sands at Greens Playing Field on 11 April 2026, with kick-off at 8:30pm in a league fixture that ended in a 1-1 stalemate after 90 minutes of competitive football. Both sides shared the spoils in a match that saw moments of promise but ultimately lacked a decisive winner.

Pro Shottas Senior lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, deploying Nashton Browne in goal. The defensive line consisted of Keshawn Thomas at right back, Romelle Burgess and Robiniho Phillips as central defenders, and Nathan Blackman on the left. In midfield, Zavion Nurse and Kobe Burgess operated as the two holding central midfielders, tasked with both defensive cover and initiating attacks. Ahead of them, the three attacking midfielders were Ishaem Ellis on the right, Shakir Harewood centrally, and Teondre Hinkson on the left, all supporting lone striker Xaveir Webster. The substitutes available were Ackeem Holder, Kishmar Wade, Jenard Satney, and Luke St.John.

From the outset, the match was physical and intense. Zavion Nurse was penalised early for a push in the second minute, signalling a combative approach in midfield. Nashton Browne was alert in goal, making a confident catch just two minutes later to deny an early Silver Sands effort. Pro Shottas’ striker Xaveir Webster tested the opposition keeper twice in quick succession, first with a saved attempt in the sixth minute and then a wide shot two minutes later, showing early intent but lacking precision.

Ishaem Ellis was caught offside in the tenth minute due to a mistimed run, while Teondre Hinkson was penalised for a late tackle in the same minute, highlighting the tight marking and physicality from both sides. Browne was again called into action with a safe catch shortly after. Keshawn Thomas committed a foul with a push in the twelfth minute, adding to the early disciplinary issues.

Shakir Harewood’s attempt in the 14th minute flew high over the bar, and Browne maintained his composure with another catch at the 15-minute mark. Webster’s shooting woes continued with a wide effort in the 24th minute, followed by Ellis also firing wide two minutes later. Harewood was penalised for a push in the 28th minute, reflecting the increasingly physical nature of the contest.

Webster was penalised twice in quick succession, once for holding in the 31st minute and then for handball in the 35th, while Hinkson also committed a handball offence a minute later. Nathan Blackman was penalised for obstruction in the 42nd minute, as the first half drew to a close with neither side able to break the deadlock.

Just before the interval, Pro Shottas Senior took the lead in spectacular fashion. At the 45th minute, Zavion Nurse unleashed a long-range strike with his right foot, brilliantly assisted by a flick from Xaveir Webster. The goal was a moment of quality that gave the home side a deserved advantage going into the break.

The second half began with Ishaem Ellis denied by a save in the 47th minute, followed by Kobe Burgess sending a high effort over the bar two minutes later. Webster was penalised for obstruction in the 50th minute, and his subsequent shot in the 52nd minute went wide. A tactical change followed with Ackeem Holder replacing Ellis in the 53rd minute.

Holder’s first contribution was an attempt that went wide in the 57th minute. Shakir Harewood received a yellow card for a bad tackle in the 59th minute and was substituted off for Kishmar Wade two minutes later. Wade quickly became involved in the action, committing an obstruction foul in the 63rd minute and a late tackle in the 64th. He also had a shot saved in the 66th minute.

Ackeem Holder was penalised for obstruction in the 69th minute, while Zavion Nurse’s effort soared high in the 73rd minute. Nurse was then penalised for obstruction in the 75th minute. The match took a turn against Pro Shottas Senior when Silver Sands equalised in the 78th minute, cancelling out the earlier goal and setting up a tense finale.

Kishmar Wade was shown a yellow card for dissent in the 83rd minute. Kobe Burgess committed a late tackle in the 85th minute, prompting another substitution as Jenard Satney replaced Nathan Blackman. Shortly after, Luke St.John came on for Teondre Hinkson in the 88th minute.

In the closing stages, Zavion Nurse had two further attempts, one wide in the 90th minute and another high in stoppage time at 92 minutes. Kobe Burgess also fired wide in the 93rd minute, but neither side could find a winner as the match ended 1-1.

Pro Shottas Senior showed glimpses of attacking promise and resilience but were ultimately held to a draw by Silver Sands in a tightly contested league encounter at Greens Playing Field.
