Away league match played on 13 December 2014.
Kicked off at 1:00 PM

Romford Flyers was ready and well up for the battle sporting only the bare eleven on a cold winter Saturday and they soon poached the lead early on with the very first attack, after a superb pass from Tom Jenkins behind the flat footed Rowham defense to Nils Haywood who cooly placed it beyond the oncoming keeper. Flyers looked dominant early on shutting Rowham down and pressuring every move they made and every bit of space they found and this is how the second would come after a chance looked to have been missed the quick thinking of Steve claxton passed back out wide to Micheal Chapman whos perfectly flighted cross was greeted by Lee Hattam at the back post whos firm header put it into the net doubling Flyers lead. Rowham struggled to get out of their own half and also struggled to take a correctly taken throw on but they was easily beaten to the ball and out played by Romford, there was absolutely no time or space for Rowham as the midfield combination of Lee Brown, Lee Hattam and Micheal Chapman for Romford was just to good linking up well with Tom Jenkins who orchestrated some tidy close passing. The Romford keeper and defence was too having a stunning performance, working as a unit and reading everything Rowham had to offer leaving them very little space or time if any at all. With the teams performance growing so was their confidence and it wouldnt be long till Romford struck again and with his sparkly new boots making their debut it was captain Micheal Chapman who struck and added to the tally making it 3-0. Moments later Rowham was granted a soft penalty, completely against the run of play they calmly converted but the their celebrations was to be short lived. Luke Appleton who had seen a chance of his just go wide minutes earlier made the scoreline 4-1 shortly before the break, the speedy left winger hit a great shot from outside the area and beat the keeper down low to his right.

Going into the second half both sides knew the next goal could be critical however it wouldn't take long to see which way it would fall as a long distance shot was thumbled by the Rowham goalie and the quick feet of Micheal Chapman was onto it to put it into the net yet again from close range making it 5-1. Romford where creating some good football from the back with solid displays from the defenders John Sinnott, Jay Collins, Micheal Saunders and Stephen Claxton slamming the door in hard in Rowhams face everytime they got a yard of space, the quick movement of Romford tore the beaten Rowham team apart who where dead on their feet. The sixth goal was to be the classiest of the day and started from left back Stephen Claxton, who played a pass to Micheal Chapman who then slipped it inside to Lee Hattam who gave it to Nils Haywood at the edge of the d who then returned the ball in to the path of Micheal Chapman who had continued his earlier run into the box and went onto score and grab his hat trick and a well deserved polish for those lovely boots of his. The punishment was to continue further for Rowham who just couldn't wait to hear the final whistle in the later stages and with an almost replay of his earlier goal, Lee Hattam grabbed his second of the day out jumping Rowhams tallest bastard to the ball and putting it beyond Rowhams struggling goalie sealing the win of SEVEN goals to one and topping off a great team performance which everyone played a part in.
