MATCH REPORT for SUNDAY 25th November 2012

AFC North Heath      1         St Michaels F C    0

For the second week in a row St Michaels turned in a very poor performance and found themselves on the wrong end of another defeat. The game started in a gale force wind with St Michaels playing the first half with the wind in their faces. The defence held firm until the 34th minute when a shot from just outside the box gave AFC the lead. There was no more further action and the half time score was 1 – 0.

St Michaels went into the second half expecting to take full advantage of the fierce wind but only really created a couple of chances without scoring. The wind which had been a great factor in the 1st half was not as fierce in the 2nd and St Michaels were unable to take any advantage from it and the final score remained 1 – 0 to AFC North Heath.

This was a serious blow to St Michaels title chances and they must hope that other results can bring them back into the race. A poor performance by the team with only Dan Regan coming out of the game with any credit as Man of the Match.
