Away league match played on 06 May 2012.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

At the third time of asking the match against Sedgley White Lion went ahead following 2 matches postponed due to waterlogged pitches. The weather was bright and the pitch was in reasonable condition.

Sedgley started the match with 10 players and after only 8 minutes were reduced to 9 when one player twisted his knee and could not continue, the late arrival of the last Sedgley player bought them back up to 10 on the quarter hour. Sedgley were awarded the first of 3 very controversial penalties in the game on 12 minutes, the spot kick was sent high and wide. Tenth Lock quickly settled down and on 18 minutes a good move saw Lee Ledington put an inch perfect pass to Dannie Phillips to score 0 – 1. On 31 minutes the second controversial penalty was awarded to Tenth Lock and the same happened Dannie Phillips hit the ball high and wide. The match was flowing from and to end but no more goals were scored before half time.

HALF TIME 0 – 1

Tenth made 2 changes at half time Haydon Baker replaced Adam Hurley and Craig Hunt replaced Adam Kelly. The second half started as briskly as the first half had ended with both teams creating chances. A Tenth break on 53 minutes down their right hand side saw James McAllister hit in a ball into the 6 yard box that beat everyone and went straight into the net 0 – 2. Sedgley did not give up and got back into the game on 67 minutes when Tenth Lock defence looked to have cleared a ball off the line only for have the referee to award a goal 1 – 2. Tenth had several chances to increase their lead but the final passes were not clinical and each attack faded to nothing. On 82 minutes the third controversial penalty was awarded to Sedgley but unlike the first 2 this was struck low and hard in to the back of the net 2 – 2. The match then seemed to fade out with neither team creating any further chances.

FULL TIME 2 – 2

Tenth Lock FC have now completed all their matches and all the players can be proud that in their first season as a team they have finished 8th with 35 points.
