Home league match played on 22 April 2012.

The Brit failed to keep their good run going with a disappointing draw at home to Preston 2010.

Missing several players with Rob away, Andy S stag weekend, Pete with his bird in Evesham(!!!), Tony pissed from Matt Sleeps wedding, JJ ill & Coxy injured, Sammy T temporarily came out of retirement to ensure we had 3 subs.

As a result of so many missing players, we had to revert to a 4-4-2. The Brit started well and quickly took control of the game, playing some excellent football for half hour, rewarded with a well rehearsed goal from Tom W's corner, Irv nodding in at the far post.

The 2nd half was a different story with Preston coming back into the game well and The Brit failing to do the stuff we were doing in the 1st half. The midfield lost the battle and too many players were below par.

On 85 Preston deservedly got the equaliser, Brit failed to deal with a corner properly and the Preston player smashed a loose ball home.

So, 2 points dropped against a decent side, who, on reflection, fully deserved their point. With Areley Kings Res beating Hamilton 2-1, they are now just one point behind us with 2 games in hand. Abberley Vale beat struggling Royal Exhange 3-0 to move within 4 points of us.
