The Fozzers FC 6 - 3 Bumfica

Your Goalscorers: L Scallon x 2 H Suddick x 2 G Gremayoko x 1 E Hughes x 1

What a game, what a day. The Testimonial match for Fozzers Legend Harvey Suddick went better than any of the lads could of imagined, with a decisive win over a lacklustre Bumfica.

The Fozzers were happy to let Bumfica have the majority of possession, and punished them on the counter a number of times. There were a number of returns, a debut and even an injury scare, in one of the most eventful games of the season.

Starting from the back, Holloway had a class game. The veteran keeper really hit top gear in this game and made a limited amount of mistakes, more with distribution rather than his actual saves. Pundits are suggesting he may have had magnets in his gloves as he got his hands to everything. The team will be confident going forward with 'The Cat' between the sticks.

The industrial Kirby returned to the team and immediately showed his professionalism and composure at the back. A perfect performance from a perfect defender, the man had a smile on his face after every challenge. You really can't put a price on the lad, and the Fozzers certainly look a better team with him barking orders.

Jack 'Darryl' Taylor also returned to the side and started at the back alongside Kirby. He showed signs of a good performance, but unfortunately his game was cut short after a horrendous challenge from Bumfica hard man , Sam Allen.

Replacing him was debutant James Cook, who has been out of the game for a while. Once the captain of legendary Sunday League team 'Coventry Sporting', the all rounder had a decent first game back, clearly growing in confidence throughout the 40 mins, and he certainly looked a better player at the end rather than the start. A top addition to the club from manager Scallon, and Fozzers fans will be happy with the direction the team is taking.

Hughes started in the 10 role and had a fairly decent game. He always brings a touch of class to the field and his new champions league insoles must be the Fozzer's lucky charm. The work horse played a lot of the game and should be happy overall with how he did.

Choudhury started on the wing with the absence of the Gask-Clarke brothers, away at the Coventry Light Skin Brothers awards 2019. Of which they won none. The lad always puts his heart in to the game, and had a number of good opportunities that he was unlucky not to put away. If he keeps up the effort, the goals will most certainly come.

Gremayoko started up front and bagged a goal from the off. This was his best game for a while and the lad is certainly a danger for oppositions. With the absence of Jamie 'Bagsman' Howe, the goblin took his opportunity to wear the 9 shirt he so desperately craves. With performances like this Scallon will always have a dilemma on his hands.

Talking of Scallon, he had the game of his life, as he scored a brace and was a constant nuisance to the Bumfica defence. The lad should be pleased, and this writer won't point out any negative aspects of this performance. A start next week? Who bloody knows...

Saving the best til last, is our man of the match, Club Legend Harvey Suddick. The man who started it all played his final game for the Club he loves so dearly, and put in a true heroes performance in the legendary yellow shirt. The lad bleeds fosters, and some dodgy touches aside was the complete package today. He is the first and only player to get a 10/10 rating from this writer and his team mates will remember him fondly. He left with a brace, and can hopefully take this form with him to the MLS, as he hands over his captains arm band to Holloway.

We love you Harvey, UTF forever
