Tiki Taka Dortmund 5 vs 2 Ramsbottom United Raptors

Tiki Taka Dortmund welcomed Ramsbottom United Raptors to St James’s High School on 19 September 2026 for a league home match kicking off at 10:30am. Over the course of 70 minutes, Dortmund secured a commanding 5-2 victory in an entertaining encounter.

Deploying a 4-3-3 formation, Tiki Taka Dortmund set up with Kamsy Anajemba in goal, protected by a back four consisting of Seka Sewagudde at right back, central defenders Lawrence Nwakamma and Kain Woodside, and Oscar Manders on the left. The midfield trio featured Noah Rule on the right, Mustafa Farag centrally, and Yasin Mohammed on the left, tasked with linking play and supporting both defence and attack. Up front, the three forwards were Brajan Staszkowicz on the right, Favour Ajumobi as the central striker, and Sonic Leung on the left, expected to spearhead the offensive efforts. The substitutes available were Nikita Velicka, Nathen Platt, Zac Humphries-Deveney, and Andrew-Franz Nkemka.

The match began brightly for Dortmund, with Brajan Staszkowicz delivering a long key pass in the third minute that created an early chance. Favour Ajumobi’s immediate attempt went wide but set the tone for Dortmund’s attacking intent. A minute later, Staszkowicz himself opened the scoring with a composed finish after a good run down the right wing before cutting inside, finishing with his right foot after a short pass from Noah Rule, giving the hosts an early lead.

Defensively, Seka Sewagudde was quick to assert himself, making a vital tackle in the eighth minute to halt a Raptors’ attack. However, Ramsbottom United Raptors responded with a goal of their own in the 11th minute, briefly levelling the score and injecting some urgency into the contest. Dortmund’s defence remained resolute, with Kain Woodside clearing danger in the 13th minute and Oscar Manders contributing to the defensive efforts in the 18th minute with a well timed tackle.

Attempts continued from Dortmund’s side, with Yasin Mohammed and Favour Ajumobi both missing the target in the 15th and 19th minutes respectively. The first substitution came in the 20th minute when Nikita Velicka replaced Mustafa Farag in midfield, signalling a tactical tweak. Goalkeeper Kamsy Anajemba was alert to catch a cross in the 22nd minute, maintaining Dortmund’s defensive solidity.

Seka Sewagudde again made a great recovery tackle in the 24th minute, while shortly after, Oscar Manders was substituted off for Nathen Platt at the 25th minute mark. Yasin Mohammed was replaced by Zac Humphries-Deveney five minutes later, continuing the rotation in midfield and wide positions.

Dortmund regained the lead in the 31st minute when Favour Ajumobi scored inside the box, finishing with his left foot after receiving a short pass from Nikita Velicka. The striker’s joy was short-lived as he was substituted off immediately after for Andrew-Franz Nkemka. The half time whistle went with Dortmund leading 2-1. The second half started with Dortmund on the back foot with a defensive tackle from Lawrence Nwakamma in the 36th minute. A spectacular lobbed goal from goalkeeper Kamsy Anajemba in the 38th minute, who scored from long range with his left foot, adding a rare but remarkable goal to Dortmund’s tally.

Nikita Velicka made a timely tackle in the 41st minute and Lawrence Nwakamma prevented a clear chance with another crucial tackle two minutes later.

Yasin Mohammed return to the field, replacing Noah Rule at the 45th minute. Anajemba was again called into action with a parry in the 46th minute. Dortmund extended their advantage further in the 48th minute when some good work down the left wing from Yasin, allowed him to put in a dangerous cross into the Raptors penalty area. The Ramsbottom defender failed to deal with it while being put under pressure from Andrew-Franz and inadvertently turned it into his own goal to extend Dortmund's lead.

Nathen Platt made a defensive tackle in the 50th minute as Dortmund maintained control. Nikita Velicka was replaced after picking up a knock by Mustafa Farag in the 52nd minute, while Ramsbottom United Raptors pulled one back in the 54th minute, keeping the contest alive.

Dortmund responded with a double substitution at the 55th minute, bringing on Noah Rule for Sonic Leung and reinstating Favour Ajumobi for Brajan Staszkowicz. Yasin Mohammed’s effort was well saved in the 59th minute, before Favour Ajumobi popped up shortly after by scoring in the 62nd minute from inside the box, assisted by Noah Rule’s short pass.

Lawrence Nwakamma once again demonstrated his defensive prowess with a vital tackle in the 66th minute to prevent a Raptors chance. Seka Sewagudde’s attempt in the 67th minute was saved, but his overall contribution earned him the player of the match accolade for his defensive solidity, timely interventions and becoming a more attacking threat in the second half as he grew in confidence.

Tiki Taka Dortmund’s 5-2 victory was marked by clinical finishing, solid defending, and a rare goal from their goalkeeper, highlighting a comprehensive team performance at St James’s High School. Although it was a slow start to the game by Dortmund, the second half saw them moving the ball around alot better and fully deserving of the win today in some awful weather conditions.
