Tingley Athletic U15s Green travelled to face Bramley Amigos U15 at an away league fixture on 1 March 2026, with kick-off at midday. The match lasted 80 minutes plus injury time and ended in a resounding 22-0 victory for Tingley Athletic, a comprehensive display of attacking football and defensive solidity.
Tingley Athletic lined up in a 4-3-2-1 formation, designed to control midfield and provide width from the flanks while supporting a lone striker up front. Josh Shepherd took his place between the sticks as goalkeeper. The defensive line consisted of Anthony Dobke at right back, Alfie Chalkley and Eli Dexter as central defenders, and Harvey Crawshaw on the left. In midfield, Abdul Ali operated centrally, flanked by Harley-Jay Eastwood on the right and Lucas Kinder on the left. Ahead of them, Harry Allman and Luke Wilson played as right and left attacking midfielders respectively, tasked with linking play and creating chances for the striker, Kieran Bamforth. The substitutes available were Jayden Day and Kaden Munder.
From the outset, Tingley Athletic imposed themselves on the game. Within five minutes, Kieran Bamforth opened the scoring with a close-range finish, expertly set up by a precise pass from Abdul Ali. A minute later, Harley-Jay Eastwood tested the Bramley goalkeeper with a high attempt that sailed over the bar. The pressure continued as Abdul Ali doubled the lead in the seventh minute, converting a right-footed close-range finish from a corner delivered by Eli Dexter.
The early dominance saw Kieran Bamforth involved again, though he conceded a foul in the ninth minute. Both Bamforth and Ali had attempts saved in the tenth minute, but the visitors’ persistence paid off when Abdul Ali netted again in the twelfth minute, this time from a cross by Lucas Kinder inside the box. Four minutes later, Bamforth scored his second goal, capitalising on a long pass from Luke Wilson.
Abdul Ali was relentless, adding a fourth goal in the nineteenth minute, assisted by Harley-Jay Eastwood. Shortly after, at the 21st minute mark, Tingley Athletic made a double substitution: Jayden Day replaced Luke Wilson, and Kaden Munder came on for Alfie Chalkley, freshening up the squad. The changes did not slow the momentum as Eli Dexter found the net in the 24th minute, assisted by Bamforth.
Harvey Crawshaw then unleashed a stunning long-range strike from outside the box in the 26th minute, followed by a volley from Lucas Kinder two minutes later. Bamforth’s efforts continued with a saved attempt at 31 minutes, but Harry Allman quickly responded with a goal inside the box a minute later. Crawshaw struck again in the 35th minute, this time assisted by substitute Jayden Day.
Attempts from Harry Allman and Anthony Dobke in the latter stages of the first half went wide or high, while Lucas Kinder was booked for a foul in the 39th minute. The half concluded with Tingley Athletic firmly in control at 11-0.
The second half began with Eli Dexter scoring a close-range tap-in immediately after the restart. Jayden Day then added his first goal for the team in the 44th minute, assisted by Abdul Ali. Day’s wide attempt followed shortly after. A penalty was awarded and converted by Alfie Chalkley in the 49th minute, maintaining the relentless scoring spree.
Lucas Kinder scored again in the 50th minute, followed by Abdul Ali’s goal in the 53rd minute, assisted by Harry Allman. Jayden Day showcased his individual skill with a solo goal in the 57th minute. Bamforth’s shot was saved once more at 58 minutes, but he soon found the net again in the 75th minute.
Abdul Ali continued to influence the game, assisting Jayden Day’s goal in the 59th minute. Anthony Dobke made a notable tackle at 60 minutes, though it did not prevent a chance. Day scored again in the 62nd minute, while Crawshaw added a spectacular “screamer” from outside the box in the 67th minute.
In the 70th minute Josh came out of goal to play up front whilst Eli covered in his place. Josh was lively throughout the final 10 and was unlucky not to get on the end of a few crosses.
Harvey Crawshaw’s goal tally increased further with strikes in the 73rd minute, followed by Harry Allman’s goal a minute later. The scoring frenzy culminated with Bamforth’s final goal in the 75th minute, sealing an emphatic 22-0 victory.
Abdul Ali was named player of the match for his outstanding contribution, scoring multiple goals and providing numerous assists. Tingley Athletic’s clinical finishing and cohesive team performance ensured a dominant display over Bramley Amigos, who were unable to mount any meaningful resistance throughout the contest.
