Away league match played on 20 March 2010.
Kicked off at 11:00 AM

The Knights started quickly, with Doel, Holloway, Sellitto and Holland charging forward; a corner was conceded by Camberley, which was taken by Holloway, Holland pulled the trigger but the Camberley keeper saved well.   A throw-in by Camberley was intercepted by Gardener; he slipped the ball to Doel who sent Holloway on route towards goal, Holloway then saw Holland in the open and passed to him.  Holland wasted no time in dispatching the ball into the back of the net, 1-0 Knights.  Then Camberley pressed forward, but their attack was broken down by Courtnage; he released Hooper along the wing and he sent the ball forward for Holloway and Holland.  With good inter-play, Holland had the final shot, but again the Camberley keeper was up to the task and quickly gathered the ball safety.  A few minutes later Komboni took a throw-in and Holloway collected, he bore down toward goal, firing in a powerful shot, but to the rescue came the Camberley keeper again; diving to his left and holding onto the ball.  Another quickly taken throw-in by Komboni set Sellitto forward, both he and Holland combined before Holland crossed for Owen; Owen slipped the ball to Gardener but his effort went wide.  As the Knights applied the pressure, Camberley conceded a corner; taken by Holloway a defender header clear but only as far as Hooper, Hooper passed to Blackbourn who shot, from distance, towards goal – but yet again the Camberley keeper brought off a great save.  Then Camberley started to play, passing well and soon found that they were in the Knights area; a shot on goal, Tadd, the Knights keeper punched the ball away, but it fell to the feet of a Camberley attacker; he struck for goal; the ball deflected and found the back of the net, 1-1.  Later, a goal-kick by Camberley was intercepted by Holland, he fired in a cross which found Holloway; Holloway didn’t hesitate, and he fired home the Knights 2 goal of the match.  This inspired Camberley to come forward again, and from a throw-in, were soon attacking the Knights goal again, Courtnage and Garland blocked the 1st effort and then Tadd dived to save the 2nd, holding onto the ball – 2-1 Knights at half-time.

Camberley kicked-off and they took route one towards goal, catching the Knights a little flat footed; Tadd, rush out of goal, forcing the attacker to shot wide.  Out of the Knights defence, Grundy, Garland, Powell, Sellitto and Doel fought their way forward, but as Doel battled his way around the Camberley keeper, his shot just rolled wide of the post.  Another Camberley goal-kick was intercepted by Sellitto; he released Holloway and Doel, a flick by Doel affording Holloway a shooting opportunity, which he took, finding the net for the Knights 3rd.  Then Camberley came again, and from a throw-in a high ball was sent into the danger zone, Courtnage and Tadd rushed out to meet the ball but got in each other’s way, and the ball found the back of the net, 3-2 Knights.  From the re-start Holland, Sellitto and Holloway took the express route towards goal, Sellitto sliding the ball through to Holloway, and again he didn’t disappoint, firing home the Knights 4th of the match.  Camberley launched another attack, sending in a high ball for their forwards to chase, they collected and hit the back of the net, but this was disallowed due to a player being off-side.  The Knights then had a throw-in, Komboni took, Holloway collected and rounded a defender before passing to Doel, Doel let the ball run and flicked it to Sellitto, and he neatly slotted this into the net, 5-2 Knights.  Then the Knights mounted attack after attack, Grundy out of defence to send Owen forward, he and Komboni combined before releasing Holloway; Holloway had a go from range, which just beat the out-stretched hand of the Camberley keeper 6-2 Knights.  Camberley still pressed forward, but with time running out, they left it too late; but in their final attack 2 strikers broke free, and where heading towards goal, Grundy rushed them, tackling hard and winning the ball, taking the pressure off the Knights, just as the final whistle blew.  The decision was made that Grundy should be awarded the man of the match, for his dedication and commitment he showed throughout the entire match.
