The Quay recorded a 4th win in a row with a comfortable win over Burradon a great morale boost ahead of next weeks massive semi final v New Fordley.

Pugh and Henda named the same team that won at Blyth last week and they carried straight on from where they had left off going ahead in the 8th minute when Joe Connor headed a great cross from Louis Hutton past the keeper and in off the post.

Alex Foreman doubled the lead halfway through the half as he superbly glanced Ryan McGorrigans cross into the corner with a great header.

Burradon pulled one back a minute later however when top scorer Adam Corbett found space in the box to control the ball well and slot home past Ellis Burns.

Just before half time Dylan Adamson restored the two goal lead for the home side when he got on the end of Joe Connors right wing cross to stab the ball home from close range.

Saints sub Connor Rafferty got the Quays 4th and his first goal for the club with a tidy left foot finish after a quality through ball from McGorrigan.

Foreman got his second late on after somehow steering a Rafferty cross high over the keeper from just inside the box.

4 wins on the spin now for the quay with only 2 conceded a very decent run to take into Saturdays game against a very strong New Fordley in the semi final.
