Goals from Knoxy and a double from Gistel. Players asked to play out of position today and I'm not going to criticise any individuals despite the result. Highlight of the game was a great diagonal ball by Alan Downs which Gistel Bjorn volleyed into the opposite corner leaving the keeper stranded. Overall a good work ethic and when pulled back to 3-2 showed fight and desire but not much you can do when forced into further changes. What I will say the next time we play them, I hope the team show particularly the desire & drive which was shown in the later of the second half. The 13 who took part today each asked to do over and above at some-point did there part. Christopher Kelly making some great saves,Robert Hughes and Aaron putting a shift in defence alongside Alistair Lannigan & Alan who worked tirelessly. James McGhee & Gistel working hard down the flank, showing some flair, taking players on great to see!!Sandy Fisher asked to play a new role today and made some decisive challenges. Martin Clark being kicked, shoved but still holding up the ball and making chances. Lee Ducey great energy shown today all that was missing was a goal today outstanding drive till the death! Sean Gaffney done his part when asked to play out his normal position bit linked up well with midfield in particular. Thomas More said he had 5 goals in him but I didn't believe him, every faithful and reliable though!! Captain today & man of the match Lee Knox drove the midfield, linked up with forwards and wingers. Even went onto a mazy Messi run a few times, unlucky didn't get further goals out of it but finished well with his header
