Away league match played on 20 August 2013.
Kicked off at 6:45 PM

It was great to see from the start simple passing, movement off the ball and moving into space something we are very good at it. Everyone put in a hard shift today! An intelligent pass from Graeme Jed Cockburn fell to Sean Gaffney who forced it over the line to make it 1-1 and was asked politely by James Martin to do the BUTTERFLY!!! We continued to pass the ball well in triangles and pass/moves which were giving us great opportunities on both wings through James McGhee and Gaffney who were both causing problems providing opportunities through passes or crosses. Alistair Lannigan and Steven Hamill both finding space or creating it to find attackers with passes short and long, attacking down the flanks well and likewise tracking back defending. Sean and Graeme worked hard in the middle and posed a threat to opposition with through balls lofted/ground pass. Martin Clark lead the line well with more supporting and creating chances than taking the, Ally would be proud!! Going in 1-1 at half-time with another relaxed half-time talk. We went down 2-1 in 2nd half but equalised through Gistel Bjorn to make it 2-2 and despite Gaffneys attempts Gistel didn't do the BUTTERFLY! At 2-2 the fifth goal was vital we had an opportunity to make it 3-2 James was played through on goals but the referee blew for offside! Some unbelievable saves again from Russell Stewart throughout the game and distributing the ball effectively. Likewise Michael Patton who held the defence together together tonight yet another solid performance!
Man of the match GISTEL BJORN
It is known that I'm a critic of Gistel but when asked to play second striker role I didn't expect him to be filling in every role on the park, tireless effort, all round effort on and off the ball and goal to top it off.
Well deserved!!
