Away league match played on 23 February 2014.

Withymoor ended their penultimate game of the season (i think) with a scrappy victory over THE ROCK Sports on what was a fantastic playing surface. A game which saw former manager now Director of Football James Cox return to the dugout in the absense of Nathan Crage

It didnt start well for the visitors when THE ROCK Sports took the lead after long (ish) ball over the top wasnt dealt with by the defence or ME allowing the striker to slot in with a scruffy finish. THE ROCK then went 2-0 up after an error from CAMPO to allow the opposition to slot through for their second of the game.

With the half time teamtalk came a change in formation to try and claw a way back into the game, Cox switching back to a conventional 4-4-2 formation. With Ben Pritchard being called away for international duty at half time, Withymoor welcomed new signing JOHN DALLO ASKILL to the team at the heart of the defence.

It didnt take long for the tactical change to pay off when PEDANTIC LITTLE C**T swept home from outside the box for 2-1 thanks to an assist from JUNIOR. Withymoor were level when the same player reacted quickly to slot home following a misjudgement from the opposition goalkeeper. With wind firmly behind Withymoor (literally) BOTTY showed he is a free kick speacialist with a fantastic strike you would often find on Flick Football, but the drama wasnt done with yet when THE ROCK hit a Peoples Elbow and equalised with a well placed shot for 3-3.

Withymoor though regained the lead within a minute when BOTTY's shot from distance squirmed under the goalkeeper for 4-3. The win was rounded off when JUNIOR supplied the cross for BOTTY to complete his hat trick and take the match ball home.

On a side note fan favourite and 3 goal a season striker SENIOR has agreed a contract with Skrill Premier side Luton Town which will see the striker move at the end of the season. The Promotion hopefuls manager John Still was delighted to have added a player of SENIOR's calibire to their ranks.

Director of Football James Cox took to FacebookLIVE, (We apologise for the strong language.) Well done lads. Shit pitch and condintions but dug in and got the win..
