AFC Biscuit Knee were founded in 2010 by a group of friends who wanted to create a team for local children to play football. The team started out in the Barnsley & District Sunday League and quickly rose through the ranks. In 2015, they were promoted to the Barnsley & District Junior Football League.
AFC Biscuit Knee have had a lot of success in recent years. They have won the Barnsley & District Junior Football League Cup twice, in 2017 and 2022. They have also been runners-up in the league on three occasions.
