About the Thurlow Nunn League
The Thurlow Nunn League is an English football league comprising 19 divisions, from the Premier Division at Step 4 of the National League System (NLS) to Division 10 at Step 7. It is named after Thurlow Nunn, a local funeral director and former chairman of the league.
The league was founded in 1972 as the Eastern Counties League, and was renamed the Thurlow Nunn League in 2002. It is one of the largest leagues in the NLS, with over 400 clubs.
The league champions are promoted to the Isthmian League, while the bottom two clubs in each division are relegated to the next level down.
