AL-REYDAN was founded in 2005 by a group of football enthusiasts in Manjeri. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Kerala football league system and made its debut in the Kerala Premier League in 2010.
AL-REYDAN has been a consistent performer in the Kerala Premier League, finishing in the top four on several occasions. The team's best finish came in 2017, when they finished as runners-up to Gokulam Kerala FC.
