AMES L2 is a football (soccer) team based in Winneba, Ghana. The team was founded in 2010 and currently competes in the Ghana Division Two League, the second tier of Ghanaian football.
AMES L2 is one of the most successful teams in the history of the Ghana Division Two League. The team has won the league title three times, in 2013, 2015, and 2017. AMES L2 has also reached the playoffs of the Ghana Division Two League on five occasions.
History
AMES L2 was founded in 2010 by a group of young footballers in Winneba. The team's name is an acronym for "Akyem Mansu Educational Society". AMES L2 quickly rose through the ranks of Ghanaian football, winning the Ghana Division Three League in 2012 and the Ghana Division Two League in 2013.
AMES L2 has continued to be a successful team in the Ghana Division Two League. The team has won the league title three times, in 2013, 2015, and 2017. AMES L2 has also reached the playoffs of the Ghana Division Two League on five occasions.

AMES L2 plays its home matches at the Winneba Sports Complex. The stadium has a capacity of 10,000 spectators.
