About the North West Colleges Sports League
The North West Colleges Sports League (NWCSL) is a football league for colleges in the North West of England. The league was founded in 2009 and currently consists of 14 teams. The league season runs from September to April. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the North West Colleges Premier League.
The NWCSL is a competitive league with a strong tradition of developing young players. Many players who have played in the league have gone on to play professional football.
