More about the team

We are a new Ashton Keynes football club for the forthcoming 2013-14 season. Steve Gunning & Luke Ellison have founded the new club on the success of taking a youth u.12's team to under 16's, some of the players have now stepped you to men's.

We encourage players from the Village and the closeby surrounding areas. With both of us having close family ties with the Village, this new club is very much for the Village, and encourages youngsters to come through youth football and onto the men's team.

History

The club was founded in 1964 and have played in a number of different leagues over the years. They won the Cirencester & District League 1 in 2010-11 and were promoted to the Cirencester & District League Premier Division. They finished bottom of the Premier Division in 2011-12 and were relegated back to Division 1.

The club have also competed in the FA Vase on a number of occasions. Their best performance was reaching the third round in 2010-11.

Current season

Ashton Keynes FC are currently in their second season in the Cirencester & District League 2. They finished 10th out of 11 teams in the 2022-23 season.
