Autochthonous FC is a football (soccer) club from Preshevo, Serbia. The club was founded in 2012 and currently plays in the Fs Ol, the third tier of Serbian football.
History
Autochthonous FC was founded in 2012 by a group of Albanian-speaking residents of Preshevo who were unhappy with the lack of representation for Albanians in the local football scene. The club's name is a reference to the fact that the majority of the club's players and supporters are from the Preshevo Valley, which is an ethnically Albanian-majority region in southern Serbia.
Autochthonous FC quickly rose through the ranks of the Serbian football pyramid, winning promotion to the Fs Ol in just four years. The club has since established itself as a mid-table team in the Fs Ol, and has even challenged for promotion to the Serbian League East on a few occasions.
