Blackham And Ashurst Saracens are a Saturday football team made up of 52 team members.

The team is from Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England, United Kingdom and play in the Tonbridge And District League, , , Premier Division.

Blackham And Ashurst Saracens started using TeamStats in September 2008 and so far have created match reports and statistics for 90 games.

Founded by squirrels in 1930 embarking on a mission to find the gold encrusted nuts in the mythical land of Blackham. The earliest B + A teams were built around the Legend that is Black John Nitjie, a man mountain who played in his bare feet and was once seen taking a cow from Blackham to Langton, eating baked hedgehog for dinner was another of his many capers and the spirit of Big Black John still lives with the club today.

Life is never dull here, and shower time is certainly not for the faint hearted, some sadly cannot hack the pace and it has been known for there to be casualties (Papa Boon – R.I.P) but for those that stick around I’m sure they will testify that once you join you will always come back at some point.

Who knows, maybe one day we will once again see the true Gaffer Mick Wild prowling the touchline to let us know wholeheartedly that we were indeed s*it, maybe Hobbit will sail the seven seas again, maybe Kenny will turn up to his next birthday drinks and maybe just maybe tripod will be back to light up the showers, football is all about such dreams.
