History
Bristol Rangers were founded in 1922 as Abergwili Athletic. The club changed its name to Bristol Rangers in 1954.
Bristol Rangers won their first Welsh Cup in 1979, defeating Caernarfon Town 2-0 in the final. They won their second Welsh Cup in 1981, defeating Bangor City 1-0 in the final.
Bristol Rangers won their first Welsh Premier League title in 2008, finishing two points ahead of The New Saints. They won their second Welsh Premier League title in 2012, finishing three points ahead of The New Saints.
