Broadlands AFC is a football club based in Bridgend, Wales. The club was founded in 2008 and currently play in the Bridgend & District Saturday League.
The club has two senior teams, the first team and the reserve team. The first team play at Newbridge Fields, while the reserve team play at Bryntirion Park.
Broadlands AFC also has a number of youth teams, from under-6s to under-18s. The youth teams play in a variety of leagues and competitions.
History
Broadlands AFC was founded in 2008 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football club in Bridgend. The club started out in the Bridgend & District Sunday League, before moving to the Bridgend & District Saturday League in 2010.
The club has enjoyed a successful history, winning the Bridgend & District Saturday League title in 2016-17. The club has also reached the final of the Bridgend Open Cup on two occasions, in 2017 and 2022.
Current Season
Broadlands AFC's first team currently sit in 15th place in the Bridgend & District Saturday League. The reserve team are currently in 10th place in the Bridgend & District Saturday League Reserve Division.
