Buyego Bombo FC is a football (soccer) team based in Bombo, Uganda. The team was founded in 1978 and currently competes in the FUFA Big League, the second-tier football league in Uganda.
History
Buyego Bombo FC was founded in 1978 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Ugandan football pyramid and in 2008, they were promoted to the Uganda Premier League, the top-tier football league in Uganda.
Buyego Bombo FC spent two seasons in the Uganda Premier League before being relegated back to the FUFA Big League in 2010. The team has since been competing in the FUFA Big League, where they have finished as runners-up on two occasions.
Stadium
Buyego Bombo FC plays its home matches at the Bombo Military Stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 10,000 spectators.
