The team started out playing in the Copenhagen Sunday League and quickly rose through the ranks, winning the league title in their first season.
In 2014, Copenhagen Celtic A joined the Danish Football Association and began competing in the Danish Cup. The team has reached the semi-finals of the cup on two occasions.
