The team was founded by a group of students at the University of Derby. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the local futsal leagues and eventually qualified for the FA Futsal National League North in 2017.
The team has had a lot of success in recent years, winning the FA Futsal National League North in 2019 and 2021. The team has also reached the semi-finals of the FA Futsal Cup on two occasions.
