History
DFC was founded in 2015 by a group of football enthusiasts in Trivandrum. The club started out playing in the Kerala State Football League and quickly rose through the ranks. In 2019, DFC won the Kerala State Football League and qualified for the Kerala Premier League.
In their debut season in the Kerala Premier League, DFC finished in fifth place. The club has continued to improve in recent years and is now considered one of the top teams in Kerala.
