The DLFC U8 Gold team had a successful season in 2022-2023. They won the YEL East Midlands SUNDAY league title and also reached the final of the YEL East Midlands SUNDAY Cup.

The YEL East Midlands SUNDAY football league is a regional league for under-8 teams. The league was founded in 2010 and currently has over 100 teams competing in it.
