History
East Thames AFC was founded in 1982 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The club started out in the Harlow and District Sunday League and quickly moved up the divisions. In 2006, the club joined the Premier Division of the Harlow and District Football League, where it has played ever since.

East Thames AFC finished the 2022-23 season in 11th place in the Premier Division of the Harlow and District Football League. The club won 10, drew 7, and lost 13 of its 29 matches.
