The Edwin Obwoge Nyatuka Football Team was founded in 2005 by Edwin Obwoge Nyatuka, a local businessman. The team was initially formed to provide a sporting outlet for young people in the Kisii area. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Kisii County League, and in 2010, they won promotion to the Kenyan National Super League. The team spent two seasons in the National Super League, before being relegated back to the Kisii County League in 2012.
The team has since bounced back, and they are currently one of the top teams in the Kisii County League. The team has a strong youth development program, and they have produced a number of players who have gone on to play for national team.
