History
EPE2 was founded in 2005 by a group of young men who wanted to play football at a competitive level. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Rwandan football pyramid and made it to the Premier League in 2010.
EPE2 has been a regular in the Premier League since then, finishing in the top half of the table most seasons. The team's best finish came in 2015, when they finished in third place.

EPE2 had a mixed season in 2022-23. The team started the season well, but they struggled in the second half of the season and finished in 10th place.
