Erudition Football Club is a football club based in Lago, Nigeria. The club was founded in 1970 and currently plays in the Nigeria Premier League.
History
Erudition FC was founded in 1970 by a group of students from the University of Lago. The club quickly rose through the ranks of the Nigerian football pyramid and won promotion to the Nigeria Premier League in 1975.
Erudition FC has won the Nigeria Premier League title twice, in 1980 and 1990. The club has also won the Nigeria FA Cup three times, in 1981, 1991, and 2000.
Stadium
Erudition FC plays its home matches at the Erudition Stadium in Lago. The stadium has a capacity of 15,000 spectators.
