The Exeter City U12s Performance Centre is a football development program for talented young players aged 11-12 years old. The program is designed to help players improve their technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills.
The Performance Centre is based at St Luke's School of Sport & Science in Exeter. Training takes place once a week on Tuesdays from 18:00-19:30. Players also have the opportunity to play in competitive matches against other teams in the Football League Youth Alliance - Devon Clubs league.
How to join the Performance Centre
To join the Performance Centre, players must first attend an open trial. Trials are held at St Luke's School of Sport & Science on a number of dates throughout the year. More information about open trials can be found on the Exeter City Academy website.
Players who are successful at the open trial will be invited to join the Performance Centre. The Performance Centre is open to players of all abilities, but players must be able to demonstrate a good level of technical skill and football intelligence.

The Football League Youth Alliance - Devon Clubs is a league for U12s teams from across Devon. The league is divided into two divisions, with the top division being the Premier Division. The Performance Centre team competes in the Premier Division.
The league is a great opportunity for players to test themselves against other talented players from across the county. The league also provides players with the opportunity to play in competitive matches against professional clubs.
The Performance Centre team has been very successful in recent years, winning the Premier Division title in 2021-22. The team has also reached the final of the FA Youth Cup on two occasions.
