Facelad FC

Facelad FC are a Sunday League football team made up of 23 team members.

The team is from England, United Kingdom and play in the Herts Advertiser Sunday League Division 1 Herts Advertiser Sunday League: Division 1.

Facelad FC started using TeamStats in August 2014 and so far have created match reports and statistics for 35 games.

Facelad Football Club began life as a humble 5-aside team in Hatfield. Following an influx of players and heavy investment from Michael Coffer’s grandfather, Facelad took up residence at Oak Hill Park in Barnet and undertook the challenge of working their way up the Barnet Sunday League.

The side took little time to find their feet and in their inaugural season, with just two league defeats to their name, Facelad were named champions of the Fourth Division, beating title rivals Majestic 3-1 in the final game of their league campaign (Goals from Michael Alderman, Darren O’Brien and George Ridley). Facelad went on to add the Fourth Division Cup to their honours, Majestic again the victims.

The second year saw changes at the top with Jack Hollands replacing Ryan Comerford as manager. Lacklustre performances throughout hampered the club’s season and ultimately Facelad finished the year in fourth position.

Now in their third year and the second tier (after league reconfigurations), it remains to be seen if Facelad can progress to the upper echelons of Barnet’s top flight.
