FC Destro Republik was founded in 2015 by a group of local soccer enthusiasts. The team's name is a combination of the words "destruction" and "republic", which reflects the team's desire to "destroy" the opposition and "rebuild" the community through soccer.

The team's first season was in 2016. The team finished the season in fourth place in the CSL Premier Division.

In 2017, the team finished in third place in the CSL Premier Division. The team also reached the semi-finals of the CSL Cup.

In 2018, the team finished in second place in the CSL Premier Division. The team also reached the final of the CSL Cup, but lost to FC Ukraine United.
